Timing is Everything

One Time Treatment – The treatment of your property results in the immediate elimination of mosquitoes so any treatment should result in less mosquitoes. Many clients start out with a single treatment either for an event or after having learned of the service. Since one treatment lasts three weeks, mosquitoes will start to come back nearing the end, particularly if this is the first treatment. Something to be aware of is that if you are electing for a one-time treatment, if you are having your first treatment at the peak of the mosquito season (June through August) then a treatment should be extremely thorough and you may run into challenges with a continuing issue.

Seasonal Treatment Packages – Seasonal treatment packages offer a season long protection for your yard, protecting you through Spring and Summer. The second the weather warms, mosquitoes and ticks begin their life cycles. Mosquito Squad starts treating at the beginning of April and continues through mid October. We have a key system of timing the treatments to coincide with the peak season. The key to the seasonal package is to keep your yard safe all season long. By beginning early in the spring and continuing through the warm months, it not only offers a set-it-and-forget-it method to your mosquito and tick situation in your yard, the treatments build upon themselves to reduce breeding issues and maintaining and impenetrable barrier around your yard that doesn’t leave time for your yard to be breached. It also offers the best value for your money.

Question: Can I order 4 treatments and spread them out beyond the three weeks you recommend?

Answer: Of course you can, however it negates much of the benefit of the timing of the seasonal treatment. It’s much better to follow the recommended three-week model.
